Nikolaos Yfantopoulos is a PhD candidate in the department of Business Administration at University of West Attica, with thesis subject “Quality management in public, occupational and private pension fund”. He received the degree in Department of Business Administration and Information Systems from the Technological Educational Institute of Patra, the Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Digital Systems Security from the University of Piraeus and the Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Informatics and Telematics (Web Engineering program) from Harokopio University of Athens.
He has teaching at the University of West Attica (formerly the Athens Technological Educational Institute) from 2013 to 2017 in areas related to Statistics and Statistical Information Processing, Computer Networks, Health Informatics and Health Information Systems. He has been working since 2015 as a scientific associate in the M.Sc. Program “Health and Social Care Management” in the field of “Applied Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Health and Social Care” at the University of West Attica.
He also serves as an IT specialist in Public and Private hospitals, as an IT officer at technical companies, as an IT consultant at the Hellenic National Public Health Organization (formerly Hellenic Center for Disease Control and Prevention-HCDCP), as a Manager of Diagnostic Center in Bioiatriki S.A. and currently works as an information security specialist in Independent Authority of Public Revenue (IARP).
His main research interests focus on the quality management in public and occupational pension fund as well as on private pension fund. He has authored posters and articles in Greek and International scientific journals.
