Dr. Georgia Tsakni holds a PhD from the Faculty of Law of the Democritus University of Thrace on the «Administration of Justice», two postgraduate degrees (MSc «Modern Methods of Public Administration and Management – Public Management» from the Department of Public Administration of Panteion University and MSc «Environment and Health: Management of Environmental Issues with Health Implications» of the Athens Medical School of the University of Athens) and a graduate degree from the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus. As a graduate of the National School of Public Administration and Local Government, she is a public sector executive. She was a laboratory assistant at the Department of Health and Welfare Management of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (teaching laboratory courses «Social Protection Systems», «Health Systems», «Environmental Management and Public Health», «Organization and Management of Health Services»). She is also an Associate Faculty Member – Research Associate in the MSc «Management and Administration of Health and Social Care Services» of the Department of Business Administration of the University of West Attica and has supervised theses within the framework of the above MSc.
In the current academic year she has teaching work (courses «Organization and Management of Occupational Therapy Services», «English – Occupational Therapy Terminology»), as she is an Academic Fellow at the Department of Occupational Therapy of the University of West Attica. She has authorial work (monographs: «The Administration of Justice» Sakkula ed., «Social Justice in Health Services» Legal Library ed., «Occupational Therapy and Social Environment» Legal Library ed., author of the third chapter – Environmental Management Systems – book «Quality and Safety of Food and Beverages» ed. Tziola), publications on health, administration and justice in health, environment and economy in international journals, articles and participation in conferences. She is certified in 4 foreign languages.
