Dr. Aspasia Goula (PhD in Organizational Culture in Health Care Units, Panteion University of Athens) is Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the University of West Attica, Greece. She holds an MSc in Health Management from the University of Kent at Canterbury.

She has been involved as an assistant researcher or as a principal researcher in 22 research projects of the Ministry of Health and Social Security, the Ministry of Labor of Cyprus, and the Ministry of Labor of Greece since 1998.

The research projects concerned the organization of health care services and employment, the improvement and autonomous living of people with disabilities, the development of a standard model of health care, self-care and rehabilitation of patients with neoplasia, and the development of systems’ quality in health services.

She is the Director of the Research Laboratory of Economics, Administration, Health Policies and Social Protection of the Social Policy Sector and in 2021 she was an Expert on Redesigning Hospital, Post-hospital Services and Long-term Closed Care for the Health Quality Assurance Organization of the Ministry of Health.

She is the author of 2 monographs entitled: a) “Hospital Administration & Management – The Greek Experience & Practice”, Papazisis editions, b) The Organizational Culture of Health Services, Papazisis editions and edited 3 bookw entitled: a) The Quality of Life as a Quality Assessment Tool of Health Care Services, Papazisis editions, b) Neuroscience for Leaders, of A. Psychogios N. Dimitriadis, Propobos editions, c) Conducting Health Research. Principles, Process and Methods of F. Kviz, Propobos editions. Finally, she has authored 80 articles that have been published in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
